Call me a tree cuz I’m about to sap. 🌲 So my instagram account was disabled on Friday for “pretending to be someone else”. This is after weeks of someone trying to hack into it. My primary reaction was “Oh well. There goes that, fuck it.” And part of me still does feel that. I’m mostly just peeved now that the actual fake account out there is stealing my shit AND IS STILL UP. But taking the wise advice from someone close to me: “The good die young and the cockroaches live forever.” I feel that shit. I had 75.5k followers. I can’t even begin to imagine what that many people in one room looks like. Orrrr why anyone would follow me in the first place (having my twat on the internet is probably the reason). I’ve privately done a lot this year including relocate and snap my focus back to things that I temporarily lost sight of by getting too caught up with work and keeping up with the Joneses. I feel like the world is trying to relentlessly reset me back to square one. And as much as a struggle bus it feels like I’m riding, it’s okay. I surrender. Maybe this is just an opportunity in disguise. Gain more genuine followers instead of just jerk off accounts. Grow and share my ideas and art that have been a struggle for me to do since presenting myself as a sex object. To quote my favorite Macklemore song: “My greatest achievement isn't the dollars. My greatest achievement isn't the followers. My greatest achievement isn't the accolades.” It’s not. And it never will be. Those things are just tools and it’s all about how you use them. It all sounds so silly cuz it’s just a free app we kill some time on, right?! But social media is our new collective voice and it has some incredible pull in society. It can make anyone famous, anyone important. It’s the vessel for social norms, ideas, trends and more. And what do you do with the stage you build? This concludes my Ted talk, thank you for coming. Kidding! Kind of. Just remember to be fucking good to each other. And fuck Zark Muckerberg.

♀This tattoo has aged with me well. ♀ I got it done at a pivotal time in my life when I started XXX. There was never a question in my mind that I could continue to be a source of femme power and also explore, flaunt, and fiscally benefit from my sexuality. As it turns out, you CAN be an inclusive feminist and a sex worker. 💕 As it also turns out, some people won’t come around to the idea of it. Cardi B said it best, “They love what you do they just hate that you doing it.” Which leads me to my next point: SESTA/FOSTA. If you haven’t heard about this bill, it’s put in place to further discriminate against sex workers and also sensor the internet you use everyday. You heard a bunch of websites were down including Craigslist personals in the name of “sex trafficking”? Yeah, that’s this. And spoiler alert, it has nothing to do with trafficking.
